Bowlis Once known for its Bowlis, natural springs, Udhampur is fast losing the once indispensible source of fresh water. 40-50 years back there are more than 500 Bowlis were in Udhampur unfortunately due to lack of funds and workforce all these shrinked to 100 only . NITI Ayog warned Himalayan State's in the upcoming years we may have to face water crisis as we are irresponsibly using water. We need to renovate our Bowlis timely and take acre of other water sources those we have. Our ancestors contribute money as well as time for the construction of Bowlis so everyone get drinking water .
